What directors ask

What does it cost?

Nothing while classrooms are new: every teacher at your school can make a class, with every game open to it, for free. There is no contract and nothing to sign. Per-seat pricing for whole schools comes later, and the classes you have made stay free until it does.

What about privacy?

A child in a class is a first name on a class list and their progress in the games. We do not ask children for an email, a phone number or a password, and they have no chat. Before making a class, the teacher confirms your school allows it, so the school gives permission for the children as the law allows for school use. Removing a child deletes their saved class games; deleting the teacher’s account deletes the class.

What do you need from us?

Any browser on classroom computers, tablets or a shared iPad. Nothing to install, no accounts to create for children, no student roster upload. A teacher types the first names, and that is the setup.

How does it roll out?

Each teacher creates a teacher account with their school email, which checks them at once, and makes one class of up to 30. A school can start with one room and add the rest when it is ready. The teachers’ page has everything a teacher needs, including the free printables.

Does it fit every child?

Pages read aloud, a short tutorial shows what to do before each game’s first play, and games set their own level, so a child still learning to read, or needing more time, plays alongside the rest. Calm mode turns the music, the hurry and the crowding down for the child who needs that.

Who do we talk to?

A small team that answers its own email. Write to us with your school’s name and how many classrooms, and we will reply with a straight answer.

Safe for a classroom

  • Games only in a class. Children who join with a class code play the learning games, with no chat.
  • No leaderboards. Students are never ranked against each other.
  • No ads, and nothing to buy inside a school account.
  • Numbers, not words. Teachers see progress, never what a child typed.
  • Every child can play. Pages read aloud, a short tutorial before each game’s first play, and games that set their own level, so a child who is still learning to read, or needs more time, plays alongside the rest.

Bring it to your school

Write to us about your school, or start today: any teacher can create a teacher account, make a class and get a class code. Free while classrooms are new.

One class of up to 30 children per teacher for now (up to 5 until we’ve checked you’re a teacher; signing up with your school email does it at once). Children play every game on school days, 7am to 4pm. Per-seat pricing for whole schools comes later.
